## Key points

- **Kaiser hospital takes shape.** The steel frame of Kaiser Permanente's roughly $1.5 billion medical campus now stands several stories high, with seven-story parking garages rising beside it. The 310-bed hospital is expected to open in 2029.
- **Paint Shop becoming concert venue.** Crews have removed much of the roof from the historic Paint Shop and are rebuilding it as a 3,700-capacity concert venue. It is scheduled to open in fall 2027.
- **Republic FC stadium site prepped.** The site of the $450 million, privately financed stadium has been graded, and drilling rigs and heavy equipment are preparing for infrastructure work. It will hold more than 20,000 fans and is expected to open in spring 2028.
- **Courthouse open, homes added.** The 18-story Sacramento Superior Courthouse is already open. Completed residential projects have added nearly 500 homes to the Railyards.
- **Much of the site remains empty.** Large parts of the 244-acre Railyards are still vacant. Most of the housing, retail and public spaces shown in the master plan have yet to be built.
